Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Board of Selectmen is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom). Members of the public attending this meeting virtually will be allowed to make comments if they wish to do so, during the portion of the hearing designated for public comment, by telephone, cell phone or personal computer using Zoom.

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize chat or raise hand function to address the Board.
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to display first and last names.

PUBLIC HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS

REQUEST FOR A DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY (RDA); NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI), ABBREVIATED NOTICE OF RESOURCE AREA DELINEATION (ANRAD), ORDER OF CONDITIONS (OOC)

7:00pm           Request for Determination of Applicability – 269 Harvard Road – proposed demolition and rebuilding of existing barn structure

7:15pm           After the Fact Filing of Notice of Intent for 175 Fox Run

OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS (MAY BE TAKEN IN ANY ORDER)

  • Minutes: Review/Approve 6/30/2020
  • Volunteer Land Steward Position – applications welcome
  • Taggart Acquisition Project Updates

Vote to acquire land utilizing the approved methods through the town meeting including grant funding

Vote to utilize the Conservation Fund for the purposes of Acquiring the Taggart parcel and outstanding due diligence items

Vote to support the application of the LAND and MAPC grants for funding to acquire the Taggart parcel

Vote to transfer allocated $100.00 from line item to the Conservation Fund as previously discussed.

  • Mail – received inquiry regarding internship opportunities
  • Conservation Property Updates: Maintenance and management items

Commission to consider and vote if necessary, any exclusions from CMMCP treatment regarding their Conservation properties specified in the deed as “managed and maintained by conservation commission” or “Chapter 40 Section 8C”.
