Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom). 

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y)
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

Select Board and Law Committee meeting for an executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. c. c. 30A, Sec. 21(a), Purpose 3, to discuss strategy with respect to litigation, Alan DiPietro v. Town of Bolton, if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the [Board/Committee] and the chair so declares.

Event Approvals

  • Request Bolton Youth Baseball to hold the annual Baseball and Softball Opening Day Parade from Emerson School to Memorial Field on April 29th, 2023 from 12 – 12:30pm. (Vince LaRosa)
  • Request from Hopkinton Concours to hold car show at 41 Main Street on May 20th from 10am – 2pm. (Aditya Dutta)

Review and Finalize the Annual Town Meeting warrant for May 1, 2022 with Town Counsel and Town Moderator (Brian Falk, Doug Storey)

  • Vote article recommendations.
  • Review and Approve Select Board’s statement

  • Request to allow the applicant, W. Timothy Hess AIA of Studio InSitu Architects, Inc., to act as a representative on the scope of work as defined in the Notice of Intent to be considered by the Conservation Commission.
  • Request to place site visit related surveyed markings on the portion of Town Land as defined in the Notice of Intent.

Presentation of the Nashua River Communities Resilient Land Management (MVP Action Grant Project) and request for board feedback on the team’s model climate smart development tool focused on ways that Bolton and Clinton can update local bylaws and regulations to integrate climate resilience. Planning Board to attend. (Rebecca Bucciglia, Linnean Solutions)
