Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom). 

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y)
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. c. c. 30A, Sec. 21(a), Purpose 3, to discuss strategy with respect to potential litigation, Keyes Farm LLC, if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the Board and the chair so declares.

7:00pm- 7:10pm

Event Approval- Request from Bolton Lions Club to hold voluntary tollbooth on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 with a rain date of Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 8:30-12:30pm near Bolton Public Library. (Andrew Keane, Bolton Lions Club President)

Request from Bolton Access for release of $25,696.91 from the PEG Cable Account for the Quarter 4 operating expenses.

Update and Discussion on the Transfer Station conversion to Pay-As-You-Throw bag program and fee structure. (Randy Heglin)

  • Acceptance of $2,500 gift to the Conservation Commission for Land Maintenance at Bower Springs.
  • Review Annual Report of the Select Board
  • Approve Bills/Payroll warrants W23-16 & w23-16A
  • Minutes

Executive Session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, §21(a)3

  • to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining with The Teamster’s Union, Local 170 if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the Board of Selectmen and the chair so declares and
  • approve minutes
  • Board will return to open session for the purpose of adjournment only.
