Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom). 

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y)
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

7:00pm-7:15pm

  • Public Hearing: Pursuant to Chapter 40, Section 56 M.G.L. the Select Board will hold a public hearing via Zoom on Thursday evening, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 PM regarding property tax classification according to use to make a determination on the factor to be used among the classes of real property, residential, open space, commercial and industrial, and of personal property for the Fiscal Year 2023 tax rate. (Board of Assessor’s)
  • Discussion with Board of Assessors: Preliminary and estimated impact to the tax rate and average increase in taxes - new NRSD high school.

Event approval: Request for approval to hold 2022 Gobbler Road Race Thursday, November 24th, 2022 (Adrienne Hoey)

Consider Request from Bolton Access Television to release funds in the amount of $26,005.47 from the PEG cable account for operations. (Nicki McGachey)
