Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom).

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y)
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

7:00pm– 7:10pm

Recommendation of Town Clerk Pam Powell to allow Bolton to remain a single precinct.

  • Vote to execute the Single Precinct Authorization Form

2.

7:10pm– 7:15pm

Consider Request from Parks and Recreation Commission to hold Halloween parade on October 31st.

3.

7:15pm– 7:20pm

Consider Request from Lions Club to put up two A-frame signs to advertise cider donut sale at Schartner Farm at the Bolton Town Common Road and at Berlin/Wattaquadock Hill Road Intersection.

Executive session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, Section 21 (a) for purpose 2 & 3

  • to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel (Town Administrator).
  • to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining for the
    • Teamster’s Union, Local No. 170
    • The Bolton Police Union, Local 286, IUPA, AFL-CIO

as the Chair finds that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the Board’s bargaining position. 

  • To review and approve executive session minutes.
  • The Board will return to open session.
