All users (homeowners and contractors) will use a special web site to access the tools needed for online permit processing. The web site is maintained by Des Lauriers Municipal Solutions, Inc, the vendor supplying Bolton’s automated permitting solution (a product named GeoTMS). To gain access to this secure website all users must register and setup an account The registration process takes several steps but you’ll only need to go through the registration process once to get signed up with a valid account. Your account (username, password, and access rights) will then be valid year after year and you can use it to apply for new permits, check on previously submitted permits, make online payments, etc.
The typical steps for any user would be:
- A one time registration to get an account (you select your own username and password) and become a registered user.
- Login to your account with your username and password to apply for new permits or check on your old permits or transact other permitting related business.
