Two more museum passes available at the Bolton Public Library

Thanks to the Friends of the Bolton Public Library, two more passes have been reactivated at the Library. Ready for your fall adventures, these passes are now available with your valid C/WMARS library card.

  • Old Sturbridge Village: the largest outdoor history museum in the Northeast, OSV depicts a rural New England town of the 1830s. Situated on more than 200 scenic acres are more than 40 original buildings, including homes, meetinghouses, a district school, country store, bank, working farm, three water-powered mills, and trade shops. Visitors can see heritage breed farm animals and interact with authentically costumed staff.
  • MA Audubon maintains about 100 wildlife sanctuaries in Massachusetts, more than half of which may be visited for walks on trails and visits to nature centers and museums. Among these is Drumlin Farm in Lincoln, a working farm with animals and crops plus exhibits that include native wildlife such as owls, foxes, and deer.  Borrowers must first reserve the library's pass, then check the MA Audubon site to reserve timed entry if required at a desired destination.

One pass is available per day for each attraction, so plan and reserve accordingly.  For the latest information and to reserve a pass, check here: http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/museum-passes.html
