Town of Bolton Memorial Day Observance

TOWN OF BOLTON MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE

Continuing a decades-old tradition, a procession will leave the Public Safety Building, 15 Wattaquodock Hill Road promptly at 9 a.m. on Monday, 28 May, Memorial Day to visit each of the town's cemeteries. Beginning with the Quaker Cemetery and continuing to South Cemetery, Pan Cemetery, and West Cemetery, flowers will be placed on the graves of veterans, police, firefighters, and EMT's, and prayers will be said. The observance concludes at the War Memorial, Wattaquodock Hill Road where a flag ceremony is held, followed by refreshments provided by Bolton Parks and Recreation. All residents of the town are warmly invited to participate. Help is also needed to plant the flowers beginning at 12:30 p.m. at South Cemetery.
