Bolton’s 2019 Town Caucus will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 7:30 pm at the Bolton Public Library - Program Room at 738 Main Street. The purpose of the Caucus is to nominate candidates for each office to be filled at the Town Election on May 13, 2019. The Caucus can nominate up to two individuals for each position opening, and these names will automatically be placed on the ballot. All registered voters are eligible to attend and participate in the Caucus.

Anyone who is not nominated at the Caucus who wishes to run for office may do so by taking out nomination papers at the Town Clerk’s Office. Signatures of 20 registered Bolton voters are needed to qualify for placement on the ballot. Candidates should gather additional signatures to assure that 20 valid signatures are submitted. The deadline for submitting nomination papers to the Board of Registrars for certification is Thursday, March 7, 2019 by 5:00 pm.
