New art exhibit and more at the Bolton Public Library

This month, see the works of the Bolton Artisans Guild in their new exhibit, "After Dark." Taking inspiration from Edward Hopper's classic painting "Nighthawks," the artisans created individual works in collage, pottery, painting, and more.  The exhibit will be displayed during the month of October, and is free to view.  Many of the works displayed are for sale by private arrangement with the artist.

Solar eclipses will take place on October 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024.  Our staff has put together a handy information page with links (http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/solar-eclipse.html) and we have eclipse viewing glasses free for the asking (limit 2 pair per person; while supplies last).

There are still a few seats open for this month's art workshop, Alcohol Inks with Liz Jegasothy.  It will be held on Saturday, 10/21.  Details and registration are here: http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/calendar.html

Finally, just in time for the season of cooking, baking, and hosting, the Library is pleased to sponsor a kitchen knife skills class with Chef Eric Brown of Third Space Kitchen in Groton.  The event will be on Wednesday, 10/18 and class is strictly limited to 12 students.  Registration is required; find it at (http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/calendar.html).

There's something for everyone at the Library, from quiet study and work space to a community jigsaw puzzle, programs and events for all ages and abilities, wifi--and books!  Check us out!
