It's CENSUS time again !!

The 2018 Town Census is arriving in Bolton mailboxes!  Please complete and sign the form and return within 10 days, even if no changes are necessary.  This year we’ve made some improvements to make submitting your census easier. 

These improvements include:

  • You can now submit your census electronically - Take a picture of the signed form and email it to census@townofbolton.com
  • You can now also pay for your dog licenses online.  Go to the TownofBolton.com, and select $ Online Payments. 

Use these tips to get the most from your Annual Census

  • Confirm your voter registration - If your name appears on the Census with blanks in the Registered Voter column you are NOT registered to vote. 
  • Remember to list your college students whose legal residence is Bolton.

What do we use Census Data for?

We use the data from the Census to produce annual street list of residents; provide data for voter lists and election services; list school age children for planning; provide dog licensing services; prepare transfer station bag tags for residents and seniors; plan for Senior Housing and Newsletters; and support other local services.
