Changes in service at the Bolton Public Library

The Bolton Public Library including its meeting space remain closed to the public. Starting Tuesday, June 2 there will be some changes to service as follows:

  • Phones and email will be answered from 10 AM-5 PM Tuesday through Friday.
  • The book return will be opened shortly.  It will be open during service hours (above) and closed at all other times.
  • Touchless pickup will be implemented shortly.

The following have not changed:

  • Downloadable materials will be available 24/7
  • No library card? Sign up for an instant digital card on the Libby App or cwmars.overdrive.com
  • Online programs for kids will continue.
  • Our COVID-19 list of online activities and educational opportunities will be maintained
  • Wifi can be used outside the building.

Statewide delivery of materials between libraries continues to be suspended.  We have no information about when interlibrary borrowing will resume.

Decisions about future phases of service are pending. When made, they will be announced here and the library website (http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org).

We understand that the slow return of library services will be difficult and frustrating.  However, with a deadly virus still active among us, the Trustees and Staff are dedicated offering services and materials in the safest possible ways and to maintaining the highest safety and health practices for our community. Thank you for your cooperation and patience.
