Station Will Be Open on Friday

Due to the forecast for a significant winter snow on Saturday, the Bolton Transfer Station will be closed. Closure of the station allows the attendants at the station to plow snow during the storm, eliminates any safety concern of the public while using the station, and keeps folks off the roads and at home where it is safest.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather adviosry affecting the Bolton region. The Hazardous Weather Outlook for Central Massachusetts includes Friday night - Snow will develop late tonight and produce an inch of accumulation by dawn.
