Bolton Public Library service update

With the Governor's recent announcements about Covid-19, the Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce further changes in our operations.

 

STARTING TUESDAY, JUNE 1:

--If you're just picking up material, there's no need to come in. Contactless pickup in the lobby will continue as established.

--Please use contactless methods to apply for a library card and to pay bills or fines.

--Quarantine of incoming items ends. You may return your items inside the library.

--The Library will be open Tuesdays through Fridays 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10-2. For terms of entry, please continue reading.

--Adults and Young Adults can walk in; no appointments needed.

--If you want to browse in the Children's Room, you MUST make an appointment here: http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org/calendar.html Appointments are necessary in the Children's Room in order to protect our vulnerable visitors. No one will be admitted to the Children's Room without an appointment. Appointments are limited to 30 minutes.

​--New appointments will be posted each week, with a 2-week horizon.

--Saturday appointments will be available.

--Computers, copier/printer, and seating will be available.

--In order to protect children, the unvaccinated, those with health concerns, and other vulnerable visitors, we ask you to consider wearing your mask while inside the Library.

--In case of Covid-19 exposure, we urge you to sign in and provide contact information when you enter the building.

 

STARTING TUESDAY, JUNE 15:

--Contactless pickup will no longer be available. Come in to the main desk to pick up your materials.

--Book packs will no longer be available.

--The Library will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday 10-5, and Saturday 10-2.

--Appointments will still be required to enter the Children's Room (see above), and will still be limited to 30 minutes.

--Evening appointments will be available.

 

To keep your appointment in the Children's Room:

​--Be on time.

--Bring your valid library card.

--Wear your mask at all times indoors.

--Limit your stay to 30 minutes max.
