Bolton Public Library has news you can use!

Along with other municipal buildings, the Bolton Public Library closed temporarily beginning on Monday, March 16. At this writing, our book return is closed and statewide deliveries of library materials have been suspended indefinitely.  Anyone who has library materials at home, whether from this or another library, should simply hold them until it's safe to return them.  The due dates have been extended until May 1, 2020 and will shortly be extended again till July 1.

This is a reminder to the community that the Library is still open online 24/7, as well as by phone and email 40 hours per week*. 

Please see the library website at http://www.boltonpubliclibrary.org and explore the following:

  • Even if you don't have a traditional library card, you can get an e-card that will give you access to thousands of downloadable books, magazines, and recorded books owned by us and our network, C/WMARS.
  • You can also get a Boston Public Library e-card, which gives access to thousands more books, music, and movies too--all free of charge
  • Under our tab marked COVID-19 (upper right on the homepage), you'll find a growing, constantly-updated list of online resources to inspire, educate, and entertain all ages--including our very own Miss Denise's online storytime and Rhythm Reads broadcasts!
  • Also under the COVID-19 tab, you'll find a list of assistance programs, from applying for unemployment to Meals on Wheels, small business assistance, and mental health resources.

*The library staff is committed to safely reopening our beautiful building and to seeing all of our readers--when the time is right. Meanwhile, we're here for you from 9-5 Monday through Friday.  You can reach us
