Art returns to the gallery at Bolton Public Library!

In July and August, visitors to the Bolton Public Library can once again enjoy the work of a local artist---and what a show this is! In Monet's Garden features the work of Suzan Osborn.  She writes, "Welcome to Monet’s garden.  Enjoy a stroll along the flowered paths, walk over the dreamy wisteria bridge, and discover small green painted bridges hidden in far areas of Monet’s water garden."

Suzan, who lives and works in Harvard MA, painted these scenes based on three one-week excursions to Giverny, France, where she and others were allowed access during exclusive painters-only hours.

Suzan's descriptions of her experiences are as captivating as the works themselves.  You can meet the artist when she visits the Gallery on these dates and times:

  • Wednesdays 2-4 p.m.: July 14 and July 28, August 4 and August 18
  • Thursdays 6:39-7:30 p.m.: July 22 and August 26

Admission is free and all but one of the paintings are available for purchase (if interested, please discuss with the artist directly).
