The Board of Selectmen met at the Town Hall at 8:00 a.m.
TREATMENT PLANT STRATEGY
Present: Mark Sprague, Board of Health Chairman; Chris Slade, Advisory Committee Chairman; William Spratt, NRHS facilities Manager.
The mounding study is needed and should probably be done first. Jack Sargent will be contacted to get contractor’s name so that the price can be determined. The current funds are ok to be used.
Town Administrator Jodi Ross will contact David Boyer of DEP on the status of consent order.
A suggestion was made to do 15-20k gpd flow now, but with the intent to expand in the future if necessary.
Mr. Spratt will check out the price of a new Zenon system, what the high
school flow is, what it cost when they put it in, what their operating costs
are, and invite a Representative from Whitewater (who maintains the High School system) to our next meeting.
HIGH SCHOOL SIGN
The Board of Selectmen approved the recently installed “lit” sign at the high school. The light will be out all summer, except on special occasions at high school. During the school year it will be on at dusk off at 10:00 p.m.
