Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, §21(a)(3) – To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation (grievance filed by AFSCME, Council #93, DPW Unit), if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the Board of Selectmen and the chair so declares.

7:00 to 7:15 pm

Approval of Events:

  • Approval for Boy Scouts to hold Stow Gobbler on November 28th at Bose. (Joey Sabourin and Mike Sabourin)
  • Welcome to new Parks and Recreation Coordinator and an approval for the Parks and Recreation Commission to hold the annual Halloween parade on Saturday, October 26, 2019. (Ali Webb)

Discussion and possible approval for Bolton Lion’s Club to have a sign on Town Common for annual cider donut sale. (David Foster)

Bolton Access Television

  • Update on camera upgrade project for the Board of Selectmen’s meeting room at Town Hall. (Nicki McGachey)
  • Approval to release funds ($ $26,885.06 ) for the Bolton Access TV operations. (Nicki McGachey)

Town Administrator Report

  • Update on Minuteman
  • Update on Portico
  • Acknowledgement of Officers Keller and White as recipients of the Chief’s Life Saving Award following the recent house fire on Nourse Road.
  • Ambulance/Fire Merger Update
  • Review of Compensatory Time Policy

Board of Selectmen Business

  • Public Service Announcement(s)
  • Appoint Bonnie Jaffe to COA.
  • Appoint Patricia Bensetler, Jem Mix, Clare Moses, and Maureen Strapko to the Bolton Cultural Council.
  • Approve Bills/Payroll warrants:  W20-05 & W20-05A, W20-06 & W20-06A
  • Minutes

  • Executive session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, §21(a)3 to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining for the Fire Union, as the Chair finds that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the Board’s bargaining position.  The Board will not reconvene to open session.
