Zoom Remote Access Meeting

 

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Board of Selectmen is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom).

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board.
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

6:15 pm – 7:00 pm

Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A, Sec. 21, Purpose 7, to comply with or act under the authority of the Public Records Law (M.G.L. c. 66) and the holding in Suffolk Construction Co., Inc. v. Division of Capital Asset Management, to review a confidential attorney-client communication.

7:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Pursuant to M.G.L. 140 Section 157 the Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing at the request of Animal Control Officer Phyllis Tower to discuss the dog belonging to Judy Francisco of 752B Main Street.

7:30 pm – 7:50 pm

Discussion and Possible Vote on Revised Host Community Agreement with Lovecraft, Inc., 58 Main Street. (Nick Catt)

7:50 pm – 7:55 pm

Request from Bolton Access Television for 2020 Q4 Comcast Funds and Comcast Capital in the amount of $38,532.26.

Discussion of Capital Requests from Fire Department (Chief Legendre)

Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A,

  •  §21(a)(3) to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining for the AFSCME, Council #93, DPW Unit, as the Chair finds that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the Board’s bargaining position.
  • §21(a)(2) to discuss strategy with respect to contract negotiations with non-union personnel (Fire Chief)
  • Board will return to Open Session.

Vote to ratify the Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Bolton and AFSCME, Council #93, DPW Unit.
