A public hearing on the petition of National Grid to relocate one (1) jointly owned pole on Nourse Road beginning at a point approximately 2000 feet at the centerline of the intersection of Green Road. Installing 1, 40C2 pole. (Laura Napolitano)

Discussion of H.3976 filed which would require notification to the community or local elected official when there is a release of sewage into our rivers.

Town Administrator Report

  • Update on Portico
  • Update on MassWorks Project.
  • Announcement of MassDEP Recycling Dividends Program funds in the amount of $4,550.
  • Recommendation on Bulk Waste Fees at the Transfer Station.
  • Reminder of the Parks and Recreation Annual Halloween Parade on October 26 at 2pm beginning at the Town Common.
  • Announcement of the promotion of firefighters Steve Kochis, Matthew Bosselait and Doug Heffel to Fire Lieutenant.

Executive session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, §21(a)3 to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining for the Fire Union, as the Chair finds that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the Board’s bargaining position.

Executive session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, §21(a)3 to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation (grievance filed by AFSCME, Council #93, DPW Unit), if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the Board of Selectmen and the chair so declares. The Board will not reconvene to open session.
