ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

PRECEDING THE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

Monday, November 27, 2017

Nashoba Regional High School – Auditorium

Members present: Brad Cote, Connie Benjamin, Ted Kirchner, Joe Myerson, & Brian Boyle

Members absent: None

Call to order: Chairman Cote called the meeting to order at 6:47 PM.

Agenda Item #1: Preparation for the Special Town Meeting at 7:00 PM

• The committee briefly considered and then voted on both of the articles on the

Special Town Meeting warrant:

o Re: Article 1 – Unpaid Bills for Fiscal Year 2017 (totaling $450.26).

§ MOTION TO APPROVE by Connie Benjamin; seconded by Joe

Myerson. VOTING IN FAVOR: Brad Cote, Connie Benjamin, Ted

Kirchner, Joe Myerson, & Brian Boyle. VOTED AND PASSED.

UNANIMOUS (5-0).

o Re: Article 2 – Citizen’s Petition – Purchase of Camp Virginia - $1,050,000.

§ MOTION TO APPROVE by Joe Myerson; not seconded.

§ MOTION TO DISAPPROVE by Ted Kirchner; seconded by Connie

Benjamin. VOTING IN FAVOR OF DISAPPROVAL: Brad Cote, Connie

Benjamin, Ted Kirchner & Brian Boyle. VOTING AGAINST: Joe

Myerson. VOTED AND PASSED (4-1).

Adjourn: MOTION. Ted Kirchner moved to adjourn at 6:53 PM; seconded by Joe Myerson.

VOTING IN FAVOR: Brad Cote, Connie Benjamin, Ted Kirchner, Joe Myerson, & Brian Boyle.

VOTED AND PASSED. UNANIMOUS (5-0).
