Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom).

Guidelines for Participants

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y)
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair.
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

Consider request of the Zoning Board of Appeals for an increase from 2 to 3 Associate Members and if approved consider recommendation of Kevin Eriksen and Elisabeth Hutchins to the Zoning Board of Appeals. (Town Planner Valerie Oorthuys)

2.

7:10pm –7:15pm

Consider Building Inspector Michael Sauvageau’s recommendation of Chris Rogers as Assistant Building Inspector.

  • Vote to appoint Chris Rogers as the Assistant Building Inspector.
  • Vote to approve waiver to M.G.L 268A Section 20.B.

Drainage Easement Discussion (DPW Director Randy Heglin)

  • Consideration and possible vote on an order of taking for a drainage easement on property located at 343 South Bolton Road.
  • Consideration and possible vote to rescind the order of taking and accept a revised easement at 5 Spectacle Hill Road.

Executive session pursuant to MGL c. 30A, §21(a)3 to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining with Teamster’s Union, Local No. 170 if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the Board of Selectmen and the chair so declares. The Board will not return to open session.
