Culvert Replacement – Wattaquadock Hill Road over Intermittent Stream

The Town of Bolton is seeking bids for the removal of an HDPE pipe and stone culvert and the installation of an 8’ wide by 6.5’ deep precast concrete box culvert with modular block wing walls. The project includes a partially embedded precast box culvert, precast wingwalls, precast approach slabs, crash-compliant highway guard and associated transitions, roadway regrading and paving.
Bid packages will be available after 10:00 am on February 26, 2020. An electronic copy of the bid package may be obtained at no cost by email request to dpwdirector@townofbolton.com. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 is required for a hardcopy of the project manual and drawings, which may be picked up at the Bolton Department of Public Works, 12 Forbush Mill Rd, Bolton, MA 01740 (by appointment, call 978-779-6402)
All bids shall be clearly marked “Culvert Replacement - Wattaquadock Hill Road over Intermittent Stream” in sealed envelopes and will be received by Donald Lowe – Town Administrator – 663 Main Street, Bolton, MA 01740 until 11:00AM on Monday, March 16, 2020. They will be publicly opened and read at that time. The Town of Bolton Town Administrator / Board of Selectmen is the awarding authority.
