SUMMER PROGRAM COUNSELORS AND SUPERVISORSWe are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team for our 8-week summer programs, running from June 24th to August 16th in Bolton, Massachusetts. BOLTON COUNCIL ON AGING - Transportation Driver 

The Town of Bolton is seeking a weekday, part-time driver (specifically Mondays) to transport older adults as well as disabled citizens of Bolton, via the Montachusett Area Regional Transit (MART) van.  Standard Class D Driver’s license required.  Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) is preferred but not required.  Successful applicant is subject to pre-employment physical, including a drug and alcohol screening and a successful CORI. BOARD AND COMMITTEE VACANCIES: 

Agricultural Commission- The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Agricultural Commission. The charge of the commission is to carry out the goal of the Agricultural Preservation Bylaw to encourage the pursuit of agriculture, promote agriculture-based economic opportunities, and protect farmlands within the Town of Bolton by allowing agricultural uses and related activities to function with minimal conflict with abutters and town agencies.

Conservation Commission- The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Conservation Commission. The Conservation Commission was established March 6th 1967 “for the promotion and development of the natural resources and the protection of the watershed resources” of the Town (Conservation Commission Act, MGL Ch. 40, §8C). The Commission is responsible for the administration of the Wetlands Protection Act (MGL Ch.131, §40) and Regulations (310 CMR 10.00) and the Town of Bolton Wetlands Bylaw (Ch. 233 Wetlands of the Town Code) which became effective in 2007

Historical Commission- The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Historical Commission. The Commission's charge is to preserve, protect and develop the historical or archeological  assets of the Town of Bolton.   

Economic Development Committee- The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Economic Development Committee. The Committee's charge is to develop an economic development action plan to help attract, retain and grow business and jobs in the Town to expand the tax base and improve the economic environment and quality of life for its residents and meet the long term needs of the community. 

Public Ways Safety Committee-  The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the Public Ways Safety Committee. The Committee's charge is to identify, investigate and propose solutions to public safety concerns throughout the town taking into account the scenic nature of roads, diversity of users and need to encourage commuter traffic onto appropriate roadways.
