Tom Frain Resignation

Due to the many questions being posed by Bolton residents and some inaccurate information being posted on social media, Bolton Town Clerk Pamela Powell and Bolton Town Administrator Don Lowe have issued the following statement:
Board of Selectman Chair, Tom Frain, has resigned from the Board effective July 28, 2017.
The next Selectmen’s meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 31, 2017. The Town Administrator will be placing the following two items on the agenda for the meeting. The first is to re-organize the Board to elect the new chairman. The next item is to call a Special Town Election to elect a new member to the Board.
The details of the proposed timing for the Special Election that the Board of Selectmen will be considering will be shared at that time. An Election can only be held after the Board of Selectmen votes for it to be called.
