In the Library Gallery in May: the art of Barbara Shapokas

In May, see the works of artist Barbara Shapokas in the Bolton Public Library gallery. A catered reception for Ms. Shapokas is scheduled for Thursday, May 3 from 6-8 p.m. The community is invited.
Barbara's show is titled "Our Tender Landscape," and features works in oil, acrylic, and pastel. The artist uses color and form to invoke wonder about her subjects. She says, "From celebrating a single color to rejoicing in the richness of a medium's large vocabulary of pigments, I hope to give the viewer a sense of calm and wonder with my work."
