Bolton Parks & Recreation Commission’s Annual Halloween Parade and Party, Saturday, October 27th, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

You’re invited to attend the Bolton Parks & Recreation Commission’s Annual Halloween Parade and Party

on Saturday, October 27th, 2 – 5 PM.

 

PRE-PARADE ENTERTAINMENT - TOWN COMMON - 2 PM

The Nashoba Jazz Ensemble will perform at 2 PM and with support from the Friends of Bolton Public Library, Professor Paddy-Whack will entertain the crowd with his AmuseCycle starting at 2:30 PM.

 

PARADE START - TOWN COMMON - 3 PM

The Parade will begin promptly at 3 PM and travel down Main Street to Mechanic Street. Roads close at 2:45 PM so please arrive early!

 

FOOD DRIVE FOR WHEAT - TOWN COMMON - 2-3 PM

Volunteers will be onsite to collect donations for WHEAT in Clinton.  Please bring a canned good or personal items such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc. to help stock WHEAT’s Community Cupboard.

 

TRICK OR TREAT LANE - FLORENCE SAWYER SCHOOL - 3:15 PM

Members of Bolton’s local businesses, volunteers, politicians, and various community groups will line Trick or Treat Lane with buckets of candy and trinkets for kids to collect along the way!

 

HALLOWEEN PARTY - EMERSON GYM - 3:30 PM

Trick or Treat Lane leads revelers to the Emerson School Gym for snacks and Halloween music. Prizes will be awarded for several best costume categories!

 

PARKING/ROAD CLOSURES

Parking is available at Florence Sawyer School, Memorial Field, Town Hall, Houghton Building, and Trinity Church. Please DO NOT PARK at the Town Common as we will be lining up the children there for the parade. The parade route will be closed to traffic starting at 2:45 p.m. so please plan accordingly.

 

CANDY DONATIONS WELCOMED!

Drop your candy donation off between October 1st and 25th at the Bolton Bean, Bolton Town Hall, Bolton Public Library, or the Florence Sawyer and Emerson School Reception areas.
