Meeting Minutes ~ October 4, 2017
Attending Members: Martha Remington, Jeannemarie Padovano, Robert Busch, Bill Nickles, Alice Coggeshall, Stacy Haponik
The meeting was called to order at 6:02pm.
Special Meeting Minutes for 283 Ballville Rd. were approved. Meeting Minutes for 9/20/17 were approved.
Updates:
The 649 Main St. FOSPRD hearing is closed. Ducharme & Dillis will be sending a letter to M. Remington regarding a preservation restriction of two homes – 649 Main Street, & 49 Sawyer Rd.
Plaques – Text of the mock-up was approved. B. Busch will take pictures of trenches caused by recent heavy rains.
Hillside Church cornerstone – BHC members will get together on Sunday 10/15/17 to clean around the base of this monument.
Town Website Update – the website should be up and accessible in another day or two.
Camp Virginia – a second walk through is scheduled for 10/28/17. It appears that selective logging is being done.
October Hearings –
Shop & Artists Gallery at 218 Sugar Rd, Toth House, hearing on 10/11/17 @ 7:20pm.
ZBA Hearing for Solar energy variance at 91 Burnham Rd. on 10/16/17 @ 7:00.
Planning Board hearing for 716 /718 Main St. (to alter to retail office space) on 10/16/17 @ 7:20.
Planning Board hearing for Tadmor subdivision & common drive plans for 11 houses on 10/25/17 @ 7pm.
The Community Preservation Act has surfaced per Representative Hogan’s presentation at the Selectmen’s Meeting on 10.5.17.
Mail - notices for above mentioned hearings & National Trust for Historic Preservation magazine.
Budget – Renewal notice from National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Next meeting scheduled for October 18, 2017.
