Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to help the Bolton COA. It's also a fun way to meet people and learn more about our community, perhaps learn new skills, or merely become more engaged with our wonderful community. While doing so, you may also qualify for the Senior Tax Rebate Program (STRP) to reduce your property taxes with the Town of Bolton.
There are numerous volunteer opportunities, some of which address on-going needs and some of which occur when we hold events or certain activities. here are just some of the possibilities for volunteering:
- Mailing and distributing the monthly COA newsletter, the Bolton Buzz
- Meals on Wheels delivery
- Visit homebound seniors
- Bag lunch or holiday meal distributions or delivery
- Computer Tech Support
- Handyman assistance
- Special Events Volunteer (promotion, set-up or clean-up)
- Assistance with COA marketing
