Health and Wellness

The Bolton COA endeavors to help keep seniors active and informated about health and safety and other common concerns. We offer numerous periodic health and wellness clinics, expert lectures, information presentations and individual counseling. Specific focus areas include:

  • Blood pressure & bone density testing
  • Memory screening
  • Diabetes education
  • Nutrition
  • Referrals to other government & non-profit organizations
  • Home safety practices

Both Bolton Town Nurses and nurses from the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) do blood pressure checks, answer health questions and can provide guidance on specific health issues that you or a loved one may be experiencing. Where feasible, our staff and volunteers may be able to assist individual seniors in addressing issues they may be facing while living on their own. Please contact the COA Office (978-779-3314) if you have any questions or need more information.

NOTE: In the event of an emergency involving a loved one who suffers from memory loss issues, such as dementia, Alzheimer's or other cognitive impairments, please contact the Bolton Police Department non-emergency phone number (978)779-2276.
