Acquired: In 1990, the Town of Bolton acquired the Randall Vinger parcels.  The parcels were gifted subject to a Conservation Restriction held by the Bolton Conservation Trust.  

Features: The wooded hillside behind town hall boasts ledge, outcrops, and glacial erratics. Atop the hill resides the Powerhouse, constructed in 1812 for the storage of ammunition. The trail crosses a pipeline easement before entering back into mixed upland forest.

Access: Parking is located along Randall Road. There are two trail heads along Randall road and a third associated with a Common Driveway off of Berlin Road.

Regulations for Use of Conservation Land

It is the intent and policy of the Conservation Commission that conservation land be maintained in a natural state. Some areas where appropriate the commission establishes trails to allow for passive recreational use. Any alteration to a Conservation property or trail by persons other than the Commission's authorized agents shall require the prior written permission of the Commission. The Conservation Land Rules and Regulations shall be adhered to at all times. The entire conveyed premises shall be retained in their predominantly natural, scenic and open condition for the purposes and uses described in the Conservation Restrictions (held by the Bolton Conservation Trust)
