PUBLIC HEARINGS AND APPOINTMENTS

REQUEST FOR A DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY (RDA); NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI), ABBREVIATED NOTICE OF RESOURCE AREA DELINEATION (ANRAD), ORDER OF CONDITIONS (OOC)

 

Present: (Chair) Brian Berube, Emily Winner, Jeffrey Bryan, Lori Stephenson, Rebecca Longvall (Conservation Agent)

 

7pm – NOI - Keyes Farm subdivision road – 258 Hudson Rd.

Brandon Ducharme present to represent client. The Subdivision road has been approved through planning board and trail with trailhead signs will be included. Closed planning board with condition with best trail location. The Commission has no outstanding concerns regarding the proposed roadway and drainage. The commission discussed the location of the trail. Lori expresses the trail may be in too close of proximity to the existing home. Potential access off of cart path off of 85 Hudson Rd with two car parking area/pervious turn around. Chair Brian proposes to condition project with list of specific items regarding visible debris material to be removed. Martha Remington present - drumlin hill/Northwoods; would recommend being sure the open space/ area to be developed would be remediated if necessary and remove the refuse on surface. The proposed parking area off of 85 where current cart path exists would include slight grading and pervious surface for small parking area. The commission discusses location of trail to connect to Danforth Conservation Area from proposed development. Trail discussed would lead from Danforth to Lot 4,5,6 (along stone wall) crossing road to lot 12 access road thus connecting through to the open space with outlet and potential parking area just off of 85 Hudson rd.

Site visit proposed to walk these proposed trail areas at 5:15pm proposed for March 27th 2018.

Brandon Ducharme requested a continuance until April 3rd 2018 @ 7pm.

Chair Brian makes a motion to continue until April 3rd 2018 at 7pm. Jeff b 2nd all unanimously approve.

7:15pm – NOI – proposed garage - 777 Main St

Applicant requests continuance via email and phone call until April 3rd 2018.

Chair Brian makes a motion to continue the public meeting until April 3rd 2018 at 7:15pm. Emily seconded all unanimously approve.

7:30pm – NOI – resurfacing of field and proposed patio - 100 East End Rd

Shawn (applicant) was present to describe proposed project. The proposed project involves the installation of permeable patio area and resurfacing of field area with gravel or other permeable surface.

Site visit Wednesday March 28th 2018 5:15pm.

Chair Brian requests a continuance at request of applicant until the next meeting April 3 2018 at 7:30pm. Lori seconded all unanimously approve.

Minutes from last meeting reviewed. Chair Brian makes a motion to approve minutes from March 6th meeting. Jeff B seconded all unanimously approve.

Conservation Agent updates commission on community events (World Water Day & Earth Day)

Chair Brian makes a motion to close the March 20th 2018 Conservation Commission Public Meeting. Jeff b seconded, all unanimously approve.
