Join the Bolton Trails Committee, Conservation Agent, Commissioners,  and Bolton Conservation Trust for a walk along the beautiful trails within the Rattlesnake Conservation Area. This walk will feature stops at the “Lime Kiln”, “Quarry”, Cave” and showcase much of the Bob Horton trail loop. Within the loop, participants can enjoy a numbered system of documented native plants and two bridge crossings over Great Brook. The hike will also include portions of the Boulder and Ridge Loop trails for a total walk of approximately 2.8 miles.

Prior to the walk, participants will receive an overview of our GPS/GIS based navigation system that uses the smart phone in your pocket to track your location on the trail in the property in real time. These KMZ files are available for free on our website for most of the mapped trails in Bolton, allowing new visitors to explore our local outdoors with ease and with confidence.

Visitors are welcome to stay & explore Rattlesnake on their own upon the conclusion of the walk.
