Mr. Wysocki called the Board of Selectmen’s meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

BOARD OF SELECTMEN BUSINESS

Appointments – Board of Appeals: On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to appoint Brian Holmes and re-appoint Kay Stoner to the Board of Appeals as regular members. (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)

Accept gift of $2,000 from Murphy Insurance to the Parks and Recreation Commission:  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to accept the above-mentioned gift to the Parks and Recreation Commission from Murphy Insurance.  (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)

Open Space Deed for Keyes Farm Subdivision:  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to execute the open space deed for Keyes Farm Subdivision.   (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki –yes).  Open space parcel 1 is 21.27 acres and open space parcel 2 is 4.97 acres for a total of 26.24 acres of open space.  Open space parcel 2 abuts Danforth open space and a trail will provide connection.  Boundary markers of the open space will be installed along with entry signs at the trailheads. 

Warrant for the State Primary, September 4, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.:  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to execute the above-mentioned warrant for the State Primary. (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)

Appointments - Poll Workers for FY2019:  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to appoint the Poll Workers for FY19 as requested by Pamela Powell, Town Clerk. (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)  The Poll Workers appointed are Annelisa Addante, Alida Austin, Kathleen Barry, Lori Bernard, Alice Coggeshall, Christel Conlin, Debby Daman, Janet Hammonds, Nancy Jagodnik, Leigh Lord, Lisa Ann Martin, Corinne Mackie, Clare Moses, Marci Nonni, Cia Ochsenbein, Patty Pleshaw, Randall Porteus, Alice Renie, Karen Richards, Alice Roemer, Wendy Rogers, Linda Shelales, Pam Sowizral and Isabel Wells. 

Transfer Management of Property Owned by the Town of Bolton to the Conservation Commission:  Rebecca Longvall, Conservation Agent formally requested that the Board of Selectmen transfer the management of a municipal parcel located on the most Northwestern point of Bolton to the Conservation Commission.   The property is adjacent to the Wildlife Management Area in perpetuity and is landlocked by the Wildlife Management Area land.  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to transfer the management of the parcel as requested.  (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)

Transportation Service Contract Between the Council on Aging and Montachusett Regional Transit Authority (MART):  On a motion made by Czekanski and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to execute the above-mentioned contract.  (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki –yes)  The contract will be for a term of three fiscal years, and shall terminate on June 30, 2021.

Selectmen’s Meeting Schedule:   Given the fact that some of the agenda items scheduled for the Board of Selectmen’s meetings in September were being pushed out to October, the Board of Selectmen agreed that it wasn’t necessary to schedule a third meeting for September.   Mr. Wysocki will provide an update at the next Board of Selectmen’s meeting on the Bolton Access Television meeting he attended. 

On a motion made by Czekasnki and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to adjourn at 7:09 p.m.  (Czekanski – yes, Wysocki – yes)
