Department Goals

  1. Oversee and assure completion, start up, and operation of new sewage treatment plant.
  2. Begin process of overseeing design and construction of sewer force main to be hooked into new treatment plant.
  3. Complete next phase of library construction on schedule and under budget.
  4. Complete next phase of public safety center construction on schedule and under budget.
  5. Rewrite Personnel Bylaws dissolving Personnel Committee and transferring human resources duties to Town Administrator and Treasurer’s offices.
  6. Work on implementation of high priority master plan recommendations.
  7. Become member of group/building committee to research and recommend school space needs.
  8. Research and resolve zoning bylaw issues regarding cell tower to allow construction of new cell tower.
  9. Implement organizational recommendations for town employees as recommended by human resources consultant.
  10. Assist with smooth transition in town clerk’s office following retirement of town clerk.
  11. Streamline filing system and create digitized record storage system.
  12. Formulate and establish town cell phone policy.
  13. Formulate and establish town computer, email and internet usage policies.
  14. Improve communications with Bolton residents through quarterly newsletter, televised interviews with department heads, etc.
  15. Participate with the improvement of traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
  16. Assist with investigation and resolution of drainage issues.
  17. Continue to support the Emergency Response Plan.
