Zoom Remote Access Meeting

Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this public meeting of the Town of Bolton Select Board is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but the public can access this meeting while in progress by Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (Zoom).  

Guidelines for Participants 

  • Utilize raise hand function to address the Board. (Alt-Y) 
  • Remain on mute until you have been addressed by the Board Chair. 
  • Participants are required to state or display first and last name prior to addressing the Board.

Event Requests:

  • Request from Cultivate Care Farms to hold a Cultivate Pride Event at Cultivate Care Farms 401 Main Street on Saturday, October 14th from 10 am-3pm. (Megan Moran)
  • Request from American Cancer Society to hold Bicycles Battling Cancer ride on Sunday, September 17th, 2023. (Mark Walter)
  • Request from Bolton Community Fund to  hold the Bolton 5K on October 7, 2023.

Sign Requests:

  • Request from Bolton Community Fund to place lawn signs  and a sign at the Town Common in advance of the Bolton 5K scheduled for October 7, 2023.
  • Request to post yard signs for two weeks prior to the Bolton & Harvard Open Studios event which is scheduled on September 30th and October 1st.  (Ann Gillespie)
  • Request from Escalante-The International LLC (TI) to install a temporary sign  36”by36”  reading “Construction Entrance” 20 feet from the edge of the roadway on the west side of Ballville Road.
  • Request from orchard at 71 Annie Moore Road to place directional signs leading to their second location in Stow, Carver Farm, due to crop failure in Bolton location. (Matt Lord)

Request from Bolton Access Television for the release of funds in the amount of $25,847.60 for Q2 operating expenses. (Nicki McGachey)

One-Day Liquor Licenses-

Request from Schartner Fruit Farm, LLC for 10 one-day liquor licenses on Saturdays from September 9th to October 28th , 2023.

  • Grant authority to Planning Board to issue a Special Permit to amend or replace the Limited Business Special Permit issued on October 25, 1986 for Bolton Office Park LLC.
  • Discussion of and possible vote to request from the NRSC the annual report(s), detailed financial statement(s) and any additional information requested by the Select Board to support same as outlined in MGL Chapter 71, Section 16(k) for the current (FY24) fiscal year and for the five (5) previous fiscal years.
