The following is the annual report of the Building Department for the year 2004. During the past year a total of 191 permits were issued by the Building Department, of which 25 were for new dwellings.
The estimated cost of construction for the past year totaled $14,601,419. The amount of permit fees remitted to the Town $87,836.50. The following is a list of permits issued during the past year:

As a remainder to the residents of the Town, a Building Permit is required for all types of work except for ordinary repairs. Also, work should only be contracted with licensed contractors.
