Brief synopsis of the actions of Town Meeting last night

Article 1:~~~~~~Passed ~unanimously

Article 4: ~~~~~Passed ~unanimously

Article 5: ~~~~~Passed ~by declared majority at lower dollar amount of $20,000

Article 6:~~~~~~Passed ~unanimously with the addition of the option to buy a new cab and chassis or a used Highway Truck.

Article 7:~~~~~~Passed ~unanimously to transfer from available funds $8000 to fund planning phase of sidewalk/pathway from Salt Box to Senior Housing.

Article 8:~~~~~~Voted to pass over

Article 9:~~~~~~Passed ~unanimously after an amendment to clear up a typo in Nashoba budget. ~~The result is a $92 dollar increase in line301-5691 to 8,778,189; the Nashoba bottom line total to $9,027,841; the amount in the article to $15,336,682; and the amount in part a. $429761.

Article 11:~~~~~Passed ~majority in favor: ~to accept the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 41, Section 100G 1/4 which will require the Town to contribute up to $5000 towards the funeral expenses of any Bolton firefighter or police officer killed in the line of duty.

Enforcement will be done in accordance with Step Enforcement Policy Against Alleged Violations of the Wetlands Protection Act and other-Local By-laws under the jurisdiction of the Bolton Conservation Commission, dated May 2, 2005.
