June and July in the Library Gallery: Chath pierSath

In the Bolton Public Library during June and July 2017, see Chath pierSath's "My America: Life on a Family Farm."

Chath pierSath presents a collection of oil and acrylic paintings on paper and materials he found on the Bolton farm where he works. There are also paintings on rocks, and collages on found fabric and paper. The show is a study and a diary.

Chath was born in Cambodia. He came to the US at the age of 10 as a refugee. Now an American, he spends 6 months of the year living and working on the Nicewicz farm, and 6 months in Cambodia, in his home village doing development works.

All of the works displayed in this show are for sale. Proceeds will go to an English school that Chath wishes to build in his birth village. Speak with the artist about prices.

A reception for Chath pierSath will be held in the Program Room on Wednesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend and meet the artist.
