The Board of Selectmen met at the Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.
POLE HEARING – MAIN STREET
Chairman Wysocki opened the continuation of the hearing from July 11th, 2013. Chairman Wysocki stated that the board had received an update from the Town Administrator that National Grid had evaluated the proposed site for a push brace on Harvard Road and learned that the presence of ledge prohibited the placement of the push brace in that location. He asked the National Grid representative – Iris Geeston-Price – if this was accurate. She stated that it was.
Selectman Delaney stated that he visited the site and was comfortable with the location that National Grid had recommended.
Selectman Sprague stated that he had visited the site as well. He said he would be more comfortable if National Grid moved the pole back from the road a few more feet. Ms. Geeston-Price stated that she would request that the pole be moved back if possible.
Hearing no additional comments, Chairman Wysocki asked if there was a motion.
Selectman Delaney made a motion to approve the request from National Grid as submitted.
The motion was seconded by Selectman Sprague.
The motion was approved 3 – 0.
APPOINTMENT
Chairman Wysocki stated that there is a request from the Cable Committee to appoint Bill Strapko to the Cable Committee.
Selectman Delaney made a motion to appoint Mr. Strapko to the Cable Committee.
Selectman Sprague seconded the motion.
The motion was approved 3 – 0.
Selectman Delaney made a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 7:06 P.M.
