The Board of Selectmen met at the Nashoba Regional High School auditorium at 6:45 p.m.
TOWN ADMINSITRATOR BENEFITS
Ms. Ross, Town Administrator is leaving the Town of Bolton as of August 8, 2008 to serve as the Town Manager for the Town of Westford. Legal opinion was requested from Brackett and Lucas to interpret the vacation benefit and deferred compensation benefit due to Ms. Ross according to her employment contract with the Town of Bolton. Gary Brackett, Town Counsel confirmed that Ms. Ross is entitled to payment of four weeks of vacation and payment of $4,000 of deferred compensation. On a motion made by Troup and seconded by Wysocki, the Board of Selectmen voted to pay Ms. Ross the vacation and deferred compensation benefits. (Plante – yes, Troup – yes, Wysocki – yes)
PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER
Mr. Wysocki reported that Mr. Giunta has taken the recommendation to resign as the chairman of the Public Safety Center Construction Committee under advisement.
SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The special town meeting was called to order by Moderator James Anker at 7:06 p.m. and was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
