Easter is celebrated with a children's Easter Party and Egg Hunt at Emerson School.
Halloween is celebrated with a children's parade from Memorial to Florence Sawyer followed by a big Halloween party.
Pond Park Opening Day is an annual event celebrating the opening of the Town's skating pond. The event depends on the weather and the skating conditions at the pond. The Commission provides complementary hot chocolate and a grill for people to use.
Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances are supported by Parks & Recreation with refreshments at the Memorial Field House building.
