Infantry requests to fire Mortars from 2100-2400 on Tuesday, 22 June
A National Guard unit from Massachusetts will fire 81mm Mortars from 2100-2400 on Tuesday, 22 June 2010.
This unit will be deploying to war and this training is critical to support their combat mission. This is a Tuesday night. The training will consist of firing approximately 200 mortar rounds and some small arms (rifle). The sound will consist of muffled explosions and may vary in volume depending upon the weather and cloud cover that evening.
