Notice of Planning Board Hearing

Relative to Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendments
Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 40A, § 5

The Planning Board in conjunction with the Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing to discuss proposed bylaw and amendments to the town's zoning bylaws which will appear on the warrant of the annual Town Meeting on May 3, 2010. The public hearing will be held at the Public Library, 738 Main Street, Bolton on Wednesday March 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Section 2.5.5.6 Site Plan Approval to include non residential uses in the residential district approved by the Planning Board;

Section 2.5.7.6 Wireless Communication Bylaw to include the wireless overlay and residential districts from setbacks already established in the bylaw;

Section 2.3.4 Schedule of Uses to include the sale of used car in the residential district by Special Permit issued by the Board of Selectmen;

Section 2.5.5.2 Activity Regulations to allow by Special Permit by the Board of Selectmen the sale of used motor vehicles in the residential district with not more than 2 vehicles at a time;

A proposed Fence Bylaw that would regulate obstructions at any intersection of public ways which have an impact on traffic and pedestrian safety.

The complete text relative to the proposed bylaw and bylaw amendments are available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s Office in the Town Hall, 663 Main Street, Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
