Join the Bolton Energy Committee and the Bolton Public Library in a celebration of Earth Day on Tuesday, 4/22 at 2 p.m. at Town Hall. This program is free of charge and is open to all ages. No registration is required.
Featured speaker Laura Kischitz (Energy Committee) will talk about reducing household energy use, consumption, and "stuff." Kids who attend are encouraged to bring a gently used toy or game for recycling. Everyone is invited to bring an energy-saving tip to share.
Earth Day or any day, citizens can view a display of earth-friendly resources at the library. The library offers books, magazines, and videos on global warming, eco-renovation, conservation, organic gardening, biofuel, solar power, responsible shopping, and related topics. The library owns adults' and childrens' versions of the Low Carbon Diet, on which the Energy Committee is sponsoring a series of local workshops.
For more information about the program, contact the library at 978-779-2839.
