Applications are being accepted for two part-time positions at the Bolton Public Library.  These positions will be open at the end of August.


SENIOR LIBRARY TECHNICIAN (1 position)

The Bolton Public Library seeks a dependable, organized person to work at the circulation desk.  Primary duties include checking materials in and out, answering phones, and assisting library users.

Schedule for this position is 10 hours (one morning and two afternoons) per week and one Saturday per month.  This is a permanent, part-time position with no benefits. Starting wage is $15.07 per hour.  

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evening assignments; PC experience; and comfort working with the public, including the ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.  Experience with Innovative Interfaces software and/or C/W MARS network is desirable, but we will train the right person.  Appointment is contingent on satisfactory CORI check.

SHELVER (1 position)

The Bolton Public Library seeks a dependable, organized person to work as a shelver.  Primary duties include organizing and filing library materials according to the Dewey Decimal Classification system.

Schedule for this position is one evening per week (Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m.) and every other Saturday (10 a.m.-3 p.m.).  This is a permanent, part-time position with no benefits. Starting wage is $12.93 per hour.  

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, dependability, organization, and comfort working around the public.  Appointment is contingent on satisfactory CORI check.
